Chico Cabana

Renovated in 2016, this was the first of a series of remodels on this property. The client drew inspiration from designers in the Southwest as well as mid-century modern and industrial loft styles. The exposed wood finishing and intricate tile work in this space set the tone for the rest of the property.

Jungle Bungalow

While working on this remodel, we referenced a series of themed hotels across the US. We carried the same Pacific Northwest style through the exterior as was indicative of the rest of the property. We added a kitchenette in the with a bar window, wallpaper on one continuous wall, plus new tile and lighting throughout.

Chico Casita & Panther Lounge

This ground up build aimed to create a high-end, luxury vacation rental in the Downtown Chico area. The existing property had been an AirBNB for some time and the owners wanted to add to their investment. For this project we drew inspiration from architects such as Frank Lloyd Write and builders of the Pacific Northwest. Keeping with those styles we decided to leave as much exposed wood as possible and utilize matching accents in the cedar shake shingles and non-linear fencing. The client was focused on creating an elegant and simple space within their budget.

Woodland Neighborhood Kitchen

The goal with this kitchen remodel was to create a modern, functional space that preserved the charm of the 70 year old home. The client wanted to preserve the original cabinetry and wooden sash, double hung windows as well has their 1920s Wedgewood stove. To keep consistent with the style we built new custom cabinets to match the originals and matched the countertops to the existing exposed wood. To finish off this kitchen we added under cabinet lighting, a new dishwasher, and installed refrigerator hookups in a new location.
